When Bluestacks was first introduced, they gave Root functions built in and all that. Yet as the days grew old and they released Bluestacks 2, it started to lack Root Access. Mainly due to people not wanting root access. This however made the rather stupid (no offence) app player, even dumber!
Many people claim to root Bluestacks, yet none give proper guides to do so. This site, as ever, will not let you down. We have made this guide ‘cause so many users fail to root that Basic App Player; Bluestacks!
All you’ll need is any version of Bluestacks, and this tool
Start Bluestacks. Wait ‘till it gets to the home screen. Open the BST (tweaker). Go to Helpers, and then make sure you have green lights on ADB and Bluestacks. Then click Patch for both top and bottom items.
Start Bluestacks and install the SuperUser app provided in 7zip file. Enjoy root access!
